Concrete Flooring Systems will soon take delivery of its new 100 tonne lorry mounted crane, the first of its kind in Northern Ireland. The high specification unit is a combination of a new Scania R560 tractor unit with the very latest Palfinger 100 Tonne crane, the new crane will provide the company with an exceptional ability to install our products in the very tight and difficult to access locations. The new crane was ordered as a compliment to our existing in-house crane fleet which consists of a 32 tonne lorry mounted crane, a Liebherr 50 tonne mobile crane and a Liebherr 90 mobile crane. This significant investment aims to reduce our dependance on very large hired mobile cranes, these mobile cranes are often required where access is difficult, with the only solution being to lift products right over the obsticles, our new crane however, has exceptional mobility and flexibility and can set up in areas that mobile cranes can't, enabling us installing our products more economically. This economy drive is just part of a greater picture where we as a company are aiming to be more efficient in everything we do, enabling us to be as competitive as possible. |
